One of the best features of 'VegaSviri Standard' is its user-friendly interface that saves on endless menu browsing and multiple button pushing. For instance, when choosing an Ascendant you do not need to open additional windows for a birth date change. It is sufficient to simply move the cursor to any place within the chart and double-click the left mouse button. To create a subsidiary chart, select the required horoscope item, e.g. the cusp of II house, and drag and drop it onto one of the planets. Most program features work the same way. In addition, this program contains a lot of hotkeys and fast access buttons fitted with help topics.

The features of this program enable the user:

The Analysis Menu shows you the position of planets in the cosmogram or horoscope, opens a window with planet coordinates, and calculates the planetary timetable for natal days and lunar days for the natal lunar month.;

The Page Designer window lets you setup and change the look of documents. To create a blank document, enter its name and press the button with the up arrow. A view of a blank page will show up on the screen. If you want to change its orientation, position the cursor on the page and make a right mouse click. In the pop-up menu choose the item that changes the page orientation. All printable elements are located in the tree-like list under the name Form Elements. Open it and you will be able to simply drag and drop any element in the list onto the page. To do this, press and hold down the left mouse button over the element, drag it onto the page and release the button. After the element appears on the page you can change its size the same way as it is done in Windows. You can move the element to a new place on the page by simply dragging and dropping. Any element can be deleted by dragging it into trash bin located in the bottom right-hand corner of the window. The user may include custom-made titles. For example, constituting a question for the analysis of a horary chart into the element list. To enter a new title, find its text in the Title text line and press “+”. To remove a title from the list, highlight it and press “-“. When you press the Print button, the current document starts printing. The print options are With Background, Without Background and Monochrome (black-and-white).

On top of this, there is an option of creating a summary diagram that accounts for all the aspects the user has set in the Return Parameters. When you select Dynamic Menu, you may change the calculation interval, weight factors of planets, aspects and returns, and conjunction parameters that can be set to negative or positive.

Dynamic graphs (both for single persons and for groups) are calculated on the basis of different weight settings, which you may save as weight masks with different names and weight factors. To create a new mask, enter its name in the bottom left-hand corner and press the Save button. Now you can change the value of separate factors. After editing, press the Change button. The settings will be automatically saved on the hard drive when the Dynamic window is closed, unless you previously turned off the save function in the Program Parameters.
